New Jersey

The state of New Jersey is located in the Mid-Atlantic Region of The United States of America. The state of New Jersey borders New York on the east and the southeast side. The Atlantic Ocean is located towards the south of the state. The Delaware River and Pennsylvania are located on the west side. The southwest side of the state is Delaware Bay and the state of Delaware. The state of New Jersey was inhabited by the Native Americans for 2,800 years and the state is also home to Lenape tribe along the coast, the tribe is very historical. The state of New Jersey was also part of many American Revolution War in the 18th Century. The state of New Jersey is the fourth-smallest state in the area surrounded by Northeast Megalopolis, between Boston and New York in the northeast, Baltimore, Philadephia, Washington DC, to the southwest. Jersey City was a part of the Big Six, Camden, Paterson, Newark and Elizabeth that helped in increasing the drive for the Industrial Revolution. On December 18, 1787, the state of New Jersey became the third state to join the Union. Capital of the state of New Jersey is Trenton, The largest city in the state is Newark and the Largest Metro is the city of Greater New York.

  • Atlantic City and The BoardWalk: The city of Atlantic is famous for its BoardWalk. The boardwalk is four-mile-long and was constructed in 1870. The area also is home to many Victorian Style Houses and best of the lot is Emlen Physick Estate. The estate is now converted into an 18-room mansion, a great example of an American Stick Style of Architecture that was built in 1879.
  • Liberty State Park: The Park is overlooking Upper New York, Liberty Island, and Ellis Island. The park contains memorials and monuments like Liberation, Holocaust, Empty Sky a memorial that includes two 210 feet long walls, the contains the name of all the victims who died in 9/11 and the ones who had family in New Jersey.
  • Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Park: The park covers an area of 70,000 acres with its border between New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The New Jersey section of the park includes Millbrook Village, a 19th-century community that displays traditional crafts and the Kittatinny Point Visitor Centre. The Minisink Archaeological Site is also another main attraction in the park.
  • Princeton and Battlefield State Park: The University of Princeton is responsible for the international reputation of the small town of Princeton. The University was established in the year 1756 and it spreads over 1600 acres. This was the institute that Albert Einstein carried out his final work. Princeton Battlefield State Park is the 200-acre location of the Battle of Princeton of 1777, it depicts Washington's Victory over the British. The park also includes the 1772 Museum that was used as a hospital by the troops belonging to both sides during the war.
