• Charlotte has the nicknames of "The Queen City" or The Hornet's Nest. It is the largest city in the state of North Carolina and is located at a point very close to the border with the neighboring state of South Carolina. Charlotte is an important financial center of the country, since Bank of America and Wachovia, two of the largest entities in the United States have the corporate headquarters in the city. The climate in Charlotte is humid subtropical, with moderate winters and hot and humid summers.
• The Charlotte area was populated by Europeans in 1755 and bought from the natives a few years later. After the Revolution and independence of the United States, Charlotte became the largest Presbyterian center in the country, but in the 19th century, it already had a population of all religions. 
• In the middle of this century, gold reefs were found, so a gold rush would begin that would later move to California, but left significant population growth. From there, in the twentieth century, the population never stopped growing, being since 1970 one of the main cities of the financial sector in the country. 
• The center of Charlotte, vibrant and colorful, exciting, but quiet, has a true southern charm with a touch of modernity. I explored its many impeccable pedestrian walks that led me to exquisite restaurants, bustling bars, and amazing architectural pieces. Charlotte has amazing art installations, statues, and monuments impregnated with history and splendor.
